Cowabunga Lite.

A jailed customization toolbox for iOS 15+ on all devices. A toolbox that lets you change your carrier name, add custom icons (w/o notification badges), speed up device animations, display the iOS build version in the status bar (currently only available in the Control Center on notched devices), and more!

Some features in the macOS version may not be available in the Windows version.

Most features of CL should work on the latest iOS 18 versions, unless they've been altered or broken by Apple. For example, features like speeding up animations no longer work on iOS 18.

Requirements:
- Mac running macOS 11.0 (Big Sur) or higher.
- Windows computer to run CL.
- iOS/iPadOS device running iOS 15.0 or higher.
- Device without Mobile Device Management (MDM) with backup encryption enabled.

**Requirements:**
- A Windows computer or a Mac running macOS 11.0 (Big Sur) or later.
- An iOS/iPadOS device running iOS 15.0 or later.
- A device without Mobile Device Management (MDM) and with backup encryption enabled.

Please take note of the following important points:

*DISCLAIMER*

I, @iTechExpert21, @AvangelistaDev, and @Leminlimez, are not liable for any damages to your device.

Nevertheless, should any issues arise, I am happy to help you fix it. You can find my socials by clicking here. Do take note that updating to a newer iOS version may break some modifications, as Apple could have patched them.

*FOR ALL USERS*

- Back up your device before applying mods/tweaks for precaution.

- If using Windows, download iTunes from Apple’s website instead of the Microsoft Store version, as some users have reported issues with iBackupBot when using the Microsoft Store version.

- These partial restorations only apply the mod to your device, not restore your device. For example, restoring from the iBackupBot Custom Icons iOS mod only modifies the custom icons. However, some apps got signed out during testing, so be mindful that your apps may be signed out. Many claim they weren’t, so it’s possible I was the only one who experienced this.

- Before applying mods, disable Find My. If ‘Stolen Device Protection’ is enabled and set to always on, you have to wait 1 hour before you can disable it and turning off Find My. You may enable these after applying mods.

**For users on iOS 17.2 and higher.**
- If you're on iOS 17.2 or higher, you will encounter a new page during setup named "iPhone Partially Setup". On this screen, you'll find two options at the bottom: "Erase and Start Over" and "Continue with Partial Setup". Please select the option below, NOT the first one.

**For users with configuration profiles installed.**
- Disable the “Setup Options” section every time you use CL to avoid messing with profiles. After applying mods, you’ll see the setup screen, continue setting up, and choose “do not transfer data” on the ‘Apps & Data’ page.

- If you can uninstall profiles, remove them first. Enabling the “Setup Options” section will remove and mess with them. Once uninstalled, enable this section and turn on “Enable Supervision.” After applying this to your device, reinstall your profiles, then install this profile {DOWNLOAD}. This profile lets you skip the setup screen after tweaks/mods. Keep the “Setup Options” section disabled whenever you use CL.

What iOS/iPadOS versions do these modified backups work on?

These mods should work on iOS/iPadOS 15 all the way up to iOS 18. But just a heads up, a mod might not work on your device’s operating system version.
