Show Touches

Show Touches

Enable on-screen device touches.

This new mod enables the touches on your device. Sadly, there's a menu that pops up with the touch icon (like shown in the header above), but at least you can see the touches. Thank you to @unknown_tags on Twitter, for helping with this mod.

Need help following the written instructions? Watch the video tutorial -> CLICK ME, while doing the written instructions. To remove the mod, simply, open the file that you're restoring to your device, then under the key BKDigitizer..., change true to false, then save the file and restore it to your device.

Instructions:

Step 1:

On your Windows PC, install iBackupBot and iTunes (if iTunes is not already installed).

Note that iTunes must be downloaded directly from Apple's website. If you installed it via the Microsoft Store, semi-restores may not work. In that case, uninstall iTunes and reinstall it from Apple's website.

Step 2:

Download the Show Touches backup from the link above, open the zip file in your downloads folder, then drag the Show Touches folder to your desktop.

Step 3:

Before installing the mod, switch off iCloud Backup and Find My on your device. You can re-enable these settings after you install the mod.

Open iBackupBot and click the folder icon and select the 'Show Touches' backup. Under the 'Backups' section, double-click it, and select 'System Files.' Search for 'com.apple.backboardd,' then right-click on the file, then restore it to your device.

On your device, it will display "Restore in Progress." After the device reboots, you'll encounter the setup screen. Simply setup your device, and when you reach the "Apps & Data" page with the "do not transfer data" option, select it and continue following the remaining steps.
