Unlock faster typing on iOS 26 – just swipe down on a key to instantly access alternate characters!

Slide to type is also unavailable for this iOS 26 mod, and no fixes have been found.

For iOS 18 and below, here's a video tutorial on how to enable the number row on the stock iOS keyboard! (Watch Now) Just a heads-up: I forgot to mention a couple of things in the tutorial—once you enable this keyboard, Slide to Type will stop working, and predictive text will switch to Vietnamese while the keyboard is active.

Unfortunately, slide to type and fully English predictive text aren’t available with this stock keyboard. If that’s a dealbreaker, I totally understand—sorry for the inconvenience.

As a partial workaround for the predictive text, you can go into the settings and unselect Vietnamese, though it still won’t be fully in English.

Instructions:

Step 1:

Download and install Nugget, then open Nugget, and connect your device. Make sure to disable Find My and iCloud Backup on your device. If you haven't already, take a moment to read the important notes. Additionally, be sure to back up your device before making any changes, so you have a safe copy of your data in case something goes wrong.

Download the zip, then open it.

Step 2:

Open Nugget, then go to "Templates" and click on "Import Templates (.batter)." Next, import the "iKeyFlick ON" file into Nugget.

To reverse this mod, use the "iKeyFlick OFF" file.

Step 3:

Next, navigate to the "Settings" section and make sure "Skip Setup" is turned off to preserve your configuration profiles. For additional guidance, refer to the Nugget FAQ. Then, go to the "Apply" section and click "Apply Changes." Your device will display "Restore in progress." Once it restarts, you’ll be taken to the setup screen. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process.

if you see the "Apps & Data" page with the "do not transfer data" option, select it and continue following the remaining steps.

If you're on iOS 17.2 or higher, you will encounter a new page during setup named "iPhone Partially Setup". On this screen, you'll find two options at the bottom: "Erase and Start Over" and "Continue with Partial Setup". Please select the option below, NOT the first one.
