Air10

Air10

Easily remove the 10-minute time limit and force AirDrop to be set to everyone. For further information, see the important notes.

Recently, I released this mod but it turns out that iBackupBot didn't properly save the file in the backup, so you were basically installing a useless mod. I have now fixed this and highly apologize for the inconvenience.

This mod is for you if you frequently use AirDrop and hate the new everyone 10-minute time limit. You can now force set AirDrop to "everyone" and get rid of the 10-minute time limit with my new Air10 mod. If you choose to proceed and install my mod, you will need to disable Bluetooth from the control center in order to completely turn off AirDrop once the mod has been applied. If you try to disable AirDrop through settings or the control center's AirDrop menu, AirDrop will automatically turn back on to the "everyone" setting.

Need help following the written instructions? Watch the video tutorial -> CLICK ME, while doing the written instructions. To remove the mod, open the com.apple.sharingd file, then remove lines number 5, & 6, save the file, then restore the file to your device.

Instructions:

Step 1:

On your Windows PC, install iBackupBot and iTunes (if iTunes is not already installed).

Note that iTunes must be downloaded directly from Apple's website. If you installed it via the Microsoft Store, semi-restores may not work. In that case, uninstall iTunes and reinstall it from Apple's website.

Step 2:

Download the Air10 backup from the link above, open the zip file in your downloads folder, then drag the Air10 folder to your desktop.

Step 3:

Before installing the mod, switch off iCloud Backup and Find My on your device. You can re-enable these settings after you install the mod.

Open iBackupBot and click the folder icon and select the 'Air10' backup. Under the 'Backups' section, double-click it, and select 'System Files.' Search for 'com.apple.sharingd,' then right-click on the file, then restore it to your device.

On your device, it will display "Restore in Progress." After the device reboots, you'll encounter the setup screen. Simply setup your device, and when you reach the "Apps & Data" page with the "do not transfer data" option, select it and continue following the remaining steps.
